Gunmen attack Bauchi villages, kill 3 persons
Three people have been killed when gunmen suspected to be bandits launched an early morning attack on Yadagungume and Limi villages in Ningi Local Government Area (LGA) of Bauchi State.
According to a villager who pleaded anonymity, the attack happened at about 12 am on Wednesday, where one person was injured and three killed. He identified those killed as Shuaibu Salihu (17), Ruwa Ali also known as Mai Inji (45), and Sunusi Isah Burra.

The slain victims have been buried this morning in accordance with Islamic rites.
“From the information I gathered, the gunmen whose number is yet to be known first attacked Yadagungume with gunshots and a boy came out and shouted, so they shot him.
“The gunmen abducted two people and somehow, one of them escaped. But we don’t know what happened, they later shot the other person they went with. It was some women who were going to the farm early this morning that saw his corpse and raised the alarm”. He said.
The Bauchi State Police Command Public Relations Officer (PRO), Ahmed Wakil, is yet to issue a statement on the incident.
