Adamawa NYSC gets new coordinator

Alhaji Ibrahim Tukur, the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC) coordinator in Adamawa State has successfully handed over to a new state coordinator, Mr Denis Jingi Birthley, after expiration of his three years tenure as the number 1 corps member in the state.
While addressing staff at the Damare NYSC camp, Alhaji Ibrahim Tukur, recount his achievements in three years as leader of the scheme.
“Among those achievements were the facilitation of road construction to Damare Permanent Orientation Camp, provision of camp facilities like 1,000 new Matrasses, renovation of camp clinic, the approval for the construction of concrete wall fencing the orientation camp and also ensuring conducive working environment for the staff and many other positive achievements” he said.
The newly posted coordinator appreciated his predecessor for the successful handing over.
He appealed to all staff to cooperate with him to achieve more positive changes, adding that with their support and cooperation a lot would be achieve to bring development to the scheme.
According to him, the idea of NYSC is to foster unity and assured that his tenure will do everything possible to foster unity among many other things in the state.
