Gov. Buni swears in 6 perm secs, tasks them on productivity

Yobe State Governor, His Excellency Mai Mala Buni, has sworn in six (6) permanent secretaries in the state.
The newly sworn-in permanent secretaries are Bashir Abubakar Sadiq, Abba Gana Mohammed Anas, Adamu Tela Zimbo, Alhaji Bukar Kilo, Isyaka Alhaji Lawan and Shuaibu Ibrahim Amshi respectively.
Governor Buni who congratulated the new administrative heads while swearing them in told them that their appointment was based on merit, qualification, and individual competence for the office of permanent secretary in the service of the state.
Buni who spoke at the swearing-in ceremony, Monday inside the Banquet Hall of the Government House Damaturu noted that the events marked a new chapter in their career.
He noted that the government and people of the state were expecting them to justify this elevation through hard work, efficiency and increase productivity.
“This administration places much emphasis on accountability, transparency and conformity in conducting government affairs.
“I urge you to be guided by the code of ethics and conduct yourselves in conformity to oaths of allegiance and office you swore to uphold,” he said.
Governor Buni also enjoined them to bring their knowledge and wealth of experience to bear and contribute their quota to improve service delivery to the people of Yobe.
