He maintained that the Ministry is vital to the proper implementation of interventions by government and every stakeholder, and as such need all relevant details that will guide community engagement and lead to accountability.

The commissioner assured that the ministry would continue to play its role and responsibility of educating, enlightening, informing and mobilising the populace in the state for sustainable development aimed at bettering the lives of the citizenry.

He commended the efforts of the UN agencies and other partners for their efforts in complementing the efforts of the state government towards the recovery and resettlement of the people.

The UNOCHA Coordinator, Asther Hagos, appreciated the cordial relationship existing between the state and the UN agencies as well as other partners in the state.
