How Gov. Buni’s contribution to APC caught Kashim Shettima’s attention
The All Progressives Congress (APC) vice presidential candidate, Senator Kashim Shettima, has commended Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State for his support and immense contributions to the APC and the unity witnessed among members.
The vice presidential candidate who was in Yobe State in the company of Honourable Mukhtari Betara and other members of the house of representatives and APC Chieftains from Borno State met with the Governor to ponder on issues of mutual interests that can promote the party.
During his time as the chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), Governor Mai Mala Buni restored unity and installed mechanisms that foster internal harmony and made more than 40 million Nigerians to register as partisans in the APC among which are three sitting state governors and scores of parliamentarians from other political parties.
The Caretaker Committee also conducted ward, local government and states congresses, heard and resolved subsequent appeals from aggrieved contestants successfully.
Responding, Governor Buni prayed for the success of the party and the Bola Ahmed Tinubu/ Kashim Shettima presidential ticket in the 2023 general election.
