As the event was taking place the man suddenly appeared in the midst of the commissioner, top police officers and the journalists but the policemen being suspicious of him dragged him away from the place.
Neptune Prime reports that in the course of interrogation, a knife and charms were recovered from him.
In an interview with Neptune Prime, the arrested man claimed to be a hunter and said it was common for them to walk about with knives and charms.
He also alleged that he was at the police headquarters to follow up on a case involving his brother who was brought from the Dukku local government area of the state.
However, the spokesperson of the state police command, Mahid Mu’azu Abubakar, in an interview with Neptune Prime identified the arrested person as Usman Buba, a 33-year-old man.
He added that the suspect has been charged to court.
