No casualties in Plateau community attack – Nigerian Army
Military spokesman under the Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) of the Nigerian Army, Major Ishaku Takwa, has confirmed that some of his personnel were ambushed by suspected bandits at the Kampani Zurak community in the Wase local government area of Plateau State.
It was gathered that the bandits arrived in the community on Saturday when residents were going about their businesses and the security personnel stationed in the area tried to repel them.

Major Takwa, said there was no casualty during the incident.
However, a community source who preferred anonymity said one soldier was killed and another injured in the ambush.
Wase local government areas have been experiencing banditry activities in recent times, forcing many residents to flee their homes for safety.
Before the attack Saturday, some suspected bandits had earlier in the week invaded the Pinau community of the local government area and rustled over 500 cows.
