Commonwealth Games 2022: Tobi Amusan, 3 others secure another gold in 4x100m relay

Nigerian and world record holder in 100m hurdles, Oluwatobiloba Amusan, among three other team mates have won another gold medal for the country during Sunday’s final of women’s 4 x 100 relay race at the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham, England.

Rosemary Chukwuma who took the last leg finished first earning 11th gold medal for Nigeria.

It was the contributory efforts of the four athletes: Amusan, Favour Ofili, Rosemary Chukwuma and Grace Nwokocha that made them finish at 42.10s, thereby, setting another African Record.

The men’s team finished behind England to win silver in the final of the 4x100m relay.
