Kano, Zamfara, Enugu each gets New Police Commissioner
The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Usman Alkali Baba has approved the posting of new Commissioners of Police (CP) each to Kano, Zamfara, and Enugu States.
According to a police signal with reference number TH.5361/FS/FHO/ABJ/SUB.4/715, from the force headquarters in Abuja, Abubakar Lawal was posted to Kano, while Yusuf Kolo was posted to Zamfara State.
The signal further stated that Ahmed Ammani was posted to Enugu State and the postings are with immediate effect.
The new Kano CP, who was transferred from Enugu State, was a one-time Divisional Police Officer, DPO Hotoro Division in Kano.
