Security operatives bust suspected IPOB members hideout, arrest 3

Not more than three suspected members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) were arrested following a crack down on their hideout at Ukpor Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State by operatives of the state Joint Task Force (JTF).

The JTF operatives recovered two vehicles, assorted charms, coffin, and military wears from the suspects.

One of the suspects simply identified as Fifty, while confessing said he had killed four people since joining the deadly gang.

He revealed that they killed security personnel after gathering intelligence that they were being traced.

Fifty while explaining their modus operandi revealed that Double Lion and Evans who are members of their group were responsible for abducting and killing residents especially security personnel in Anambra State.
