Why Nigerians should vote Tinubu in 2023 presidential election – Supreme Court ex-Registrar (Videos)
Hadizatu Uwani Mustapha, the immediate past Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court, has urged Nigerians to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, for economic and human capital development of the country.
Mrs Mustapha, who is the chairperson for the ‘Hadizatu Uwani Mustapha, HUM, for Tinubu/Shettima Ticket’, a campaign movement she launched recently, made the call while speaking with DAILY NIGERIAN in Abuja.
She said Tinubu/Shettima’s presidency will usher in a new Nigeria because the candidates have proven themselves to be trustworthy leaders while governing their own states.
According to her, “Lagos State is where it is today courtesy of a solid blueprint established by Bola Ahmad Tinubu. Basically, his political philosophy prioritises the development of human capital and the economy of the state.
“So also Borno State where Kashim Shettima had brought his leadership prowess by bringing the Boko Haram insurgency to its lowest ebb.
“Fortunately, Governor Babagana Zulum is continuing from where Shettima stopped. Borno residents are now going about their normal lives with no fear of bombings. In fact, the issue of bombings and suicide bombers is gradually becoming a thing of the past.
“So, these are the qualities of leaders Nigeria needs, not those that will keep promising heaven and earth without a defined strategy to fulfill these promises.”
The Gwoza-born legal practitioner said it has become very necessary for Nigerians to come out en masse and vote for the APC.
“We will go into the nooks and crannies of the country to mobilize support for Tinubu/Shettima presidency by highlighting the manifesto of the candidates and that of the APC.
“We are sure that if the APC is elected, the current issue of insecurity and economic challenges will be addressed,” Mrs Mustapha stated.
