YETFund to stage retreat Saturday, state deputy gov., Emir of Fika guests
The Yobe State Education Trust Fund (YETFund) will be organising a retreat Saturday 3, 2022 to discuss how far they have gone in the educational planning of the state.
YETFund has also invited Neptune Prime Network Nigeria to participate as a contributor in the consultative retreat on the operational guidelines development of the organisation.
The letter of invitation was signed by Professor Mamman Lawan, Secretary, YETFund Board of Directors.
Guests of honour include the Yobe deputy governor, Idi Barde Gubana; Emir of Fika, Alhaji Muhammadu Abali Idrissa; and others.
The programme which holds 10 am at the Yobe Investment House, Central Business District Abuja will be facilitated by Dr Abdullahi Gimba, Dr Zaji Bunu and Quindaline Eneh while the rapporteurs are Dr Muhammad Buhari, Nasidi, Shettima Danazmi, Usman Abba and Job Ayuba.
It could be recalled that the Yobe State educational sector received a massive boost when the state government launched an Education Appeal Fund Thursday, 10 February 2022, at an event held at Ladi Kwali Hall, Sheraton Hotel in Abuja.

The appeal fund programme was launched by the state government to join hands with the people of the state and friends across the country, to address the appalling situation in Yobe schools, especially after the Boko Haram insurgency.
The retreat by YETFund is to discuss the prudential management of and reporting on all the resources associated with the education revitalisation initiative of the state.
This is as YETFund had embarked upon the consultative project to author its operational guidelines towards achieving the education revitalisation goals of the state.
The retreat will include the gathering of relevant materials, and carrying out literature reviews to develop a draft operational guideline that will be subjected to extensive discourse from which the final operational guidelines would evolve.
