ESN/IPOB men kill three policemen in Enugu
Three police officers have been shot dead by men suspected to be members of the Eastern Security Network (ESN)/ the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in Enugu State.
The Enugu State Police Command confirmed the killing of the Police operatives on Wednesday at about 10:15 pm, who were in a patrol vehicle at Chime Avenue, New Haven in Enugu when they were attacked.

The State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Daniel Ndukwe, said an intensive manhunt operation has commenced to fish out the unknown assailants, who operated in a Lexus Jeep.
Ndukwe disclosed that the occupants of the Lexus Jeep suddenly opened fire on the moving Police Patrol Van on duty.
He added that the shooting led to three of the operatives sustaining severe gunshot wounds and were later confirmed dead at the hospital.
