A police inspector, Idris Musa, has been reportedly killed and several passengers abducted following an attack along the Jibiya-Katsina Road in Katsina State in the early hours of Monday, September 26.

The Police spokesman, Superintendent (SP) Gambo Isah, while confirming the attack, said the incident occurred at a place called Makers adding that the officer was on his way to work when he was attacked and killed by the terrorists and had his vehicle burnt.
Another source within the area also confirmed the incident and alleged that the terrorists also abducted some passengers accompanying the late officer, according to AIT.
The Police image maker further said the investigation is ongoing into the incident.
