Gov. Buni receives NEDC’s regional masterplan report, assures of effective implementation
Yobe State Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs, Dr Abubakar Garba Iliya, has presented a report on the Validation of the Regional Masterplan of the North-East Development Commission (NEDC) to Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni.
Governor Buni assured that government would study the report for effective implementation.

He expressed the readiness of his administration to implement the recommendations of the report to improve the lives of the people.
The Federal Government of Nigeria established the North-East Development Commission (NEDC) to assess, coordinate, and report on all interventions programmes and initiatives that will bring development to the insurgency-ravaged North-East states; Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba, and Yobe States.
