How soldier serving in Yobe, 2 other suspects were arrested in Imo for kidnapping (Video)
A soldier serving in Yobe State was caught in Imo State with his other two(2) gang members for kidnapping and arms bearing.
The suspects were caught with military uniforms, Ak-47 riffle, and double local pistol made with full magazines.
During the interrogation, the soldier said he is from Abia State but currently serving in Yobe State while the other two suspects; one identified as Ben Njokwu, confessed that they were from Imo state.
It could be recalled how police in Yobe State apprehended Lance Corporal John Gabriel with service number N/A13/69/1522 and Lance Corporal Adamu Gideon N/A13/70/6552, both attached to 241 Recce Battalion, Nguru, Yobe State after killing a renowned Islamic cleric, Sheikh Baba Goni Aisami in cold blood while trying to snatch his car.
The two soldiers were however dismissed by the Nigerian Army after finding them guilty on two-count charges in connection with the murder of the cleric.
