Kannywood actress, Fati Abdullahi Washa has indicated her willingness to settle down after having a successful career in Kannywood.
The 30-year-old actress, who was recently nominated by producers of the Labari na Hausa film series to replace Nafisa Abdullahi who had decided earlier to drop out of the programme says she has conditions that must be met by whoever is interested in marrying her.
It could be recalled that Nafisa Abdullahi dropped out of the programme due to differences between her and the sponsors of the programme, even though well-wishers intervened in the crisis, Nafisa insisted to go, hence her replacement with Fati Washa.
According to a statement, Fati Washa posted on social media, she narrated that she joined Kannywood over 10-years-ago as a supporting actress, but later graduated into an experienced artist that was always sorted by producers and directors. The future is in their films because she almost became a household name among the Hausa film viewers, similarly, she also noted that she was extremely excited when she was nominated to play the lead role under the name Sumayya in Labari na film series.

Coming to conditions she wants people to meet before coming to her for marriage, she said that the person must memorize the Holy Qur’an off-hand, he must be tall, black and handsome, he must be single and never married before, he must be sincere and love her for what she is not minding the allegations by the public that Kannywood actors and actresses are school dropouts, drug addicts, and consumers of alcohol, finally, he must promise her that he will not take the second wife.
Fati Washa who was born and brought up in Bauchi did her primary and secondary education in Bauchi, and later attended GGSS Tafawa Balewa, Kaduna before proceeding to the Federal College of Education, Kano for her NCE Programme.
After Fati Washa posted her conditions before getting married on social media, it attracted lots of comments from well-wishers and also received criticism, some urged her to pray to God so that she will get a man of her choice and not start issuing conditions on social media.
