Her Royal Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, is said to be under medical supervision at her residence in Balmoral.
According to the BBC, the Queen is steady and her immediate family members have arrived her residence to monitor the situation.
Doctors are said to be concerned about her health due to mobility issues they detected.
She pulled out of a proposed online Zoom meeting where she was billed to preside over the inauguration of the new Prime Minister, Liz Truss into the privy council where she was advised to rest following her engagements on Wednesday.
Reacting to the development, Liz Truss in a tweet said Thursday morning said, “The whole country will be deeply concerned by the news from Buckingham Palace this lunchtime.
“My thoughts – and the thoughts of people across our United Kingdom – are with Her Majesty The Queen and her family at this time.”
