Story from Sa’adatu MAINA, Damaturu
A 4-year-old Muktar Adamu of Nahuta community in the Potiskum local government area of Yobe State has been rescued after he was kidnapped in his father’s home Wednesday last week by kidnappers.
The rescue effort was made with the support of community members as well as security personnel in the state.
The abductors were also arrested on Friday at the Yindiski community of Potiskum local government areas of Yobe.
The four suspects who were involved in the evil acts are currently in the custody of the police for further investigation in Potiskum town.
A community member who didn’t want his name to be revealed said the kidnappers earlier planned to kidnap the father of the 4-year-old boy (Malam Adamu) but unlucky their plan failed, so they kidnapped his 4-year-old son instead.
Efforts to speak with the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Yobe state police command to get information on the development of the matter proved abortive.
