Arsenal reclaim top spot as Newcastle frustrate Man Utd to a goalless draw

Arsenal Football Club reclaimed top spot of the English Premier League (EPL) after their 1-0 victory over Leeds United on Sunday afternoon.

Bukayo Saka saw the Gunners through after a strike in the 18 yard area in 35th minute despite the match delayed by 40 minutes because of a power outage.

Arsenal are momentarily top with 27 points with Manchester City trailing by 24.

Elsewhere, Manchester United’s inconsistencies continued after they were frustrated by Newcastle United to a goalless draw at Old Trafford.

Chelsea on the other hand secured an important three points from Aston Villa, their third successive victory since Graham Potter took over.

The Blues 2-0 goals all came from Mason Mount in the sixth and 65th minute as they climbed to fourth on the table.
