FIFA Under 17: Despite defeat, Germans dance with Flamingos after match (Video)

Ordinarily, losing out of a World Cup third place match after putting in your best should be sobering but the reverse was the case for some of the female under 17 Germans as they were captured in different dance steps with their opponents, Nigeria’s Flamingos, who claimed victory over the Europeans on Sunday at the just concluded FIFA Under 17 Women’s World Cup in India.

The third place match after 90 minutes ended in a 3-3 draw and it was decided on penalties in which the Flamingos carried the day beating the Germans 3-2 to win the bronze.

In a video obtained by Neptune Prime, the teenagers from the two countries after the match were seen dancing to a popular Nigerian song.

Shortly after the match, Nigeria’s Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, on his Twitter handle announced a N3 million reward for the youngsters.
