Nigeria’s Alex Iwobi put Everton on the lead in the first five minutes of kick off piling pressure on Erik ten Hag’s boys who were trashed 6:3 seven days ago.

United’s new player, Anthony leveled up the game 10 minutes later to make it 1-1.

The Reds dominance in the final third before break paid off when Casemiro plays a lovely pass out to the left flank for Ronaldo on the counter-attack, with the substitute getting the better of Coleman before dispatching a left-footed shot into the bottom corner to make it 2-1 for United.

Sunday’s victory for United makes it the 38th English Premier League victory for the Reds against Everton.
