Two Pakistani businessmen were on Saturday, November 5, 2022 arrested with 8 kilograms of cocaine concealed in a Public Address (PA) system while attempting to board a Qatar Airways flight to Lahole, Pakistan via Doha.

They were arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA), Lagos.
The two suspects: Asif Muhammed, 45 and Hussain Naveed, 57, who hold Nigerian residence permits suspected to be fake, are frequent travelers to Nigeria under the guise of doing textile business.
NDLEA spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, in a statement on Sunday, November 6, said the suspects were arrested barely a week after they came to Nigeria, Sunday 30, October.
Also, a 32-yr-old lady, Oladitan Serah Olufunmilayo, was on Thursday, November 3 arrested with illicit drugs hidden inside foot wears and soap packs at the MMIA.
She was found with cannabis, cocaine and methamphetamine as well as tramadol 225mg and rohyphnol, en-route to Dubai, UAE.
