This was disclosed in a statement issued by Mamman Mohammed, Director-General, Press and Media to Governor Buni and sent to Neptune Prime.

“The two leaders had a lengthy discussion bordering on the success of the party in the 2023 general election.

“Governor Buni’s wealth of experience in party administration, reconciliation and magnetic character of attracting people into the party remains unprecedented and great asset to APC at this crucial moment of electioneering,” Mohammed said.

Recall that Governor Buni was in charge of affairs of the party as the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress’ Caretaker Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee from 25 June 2020 to March 2022 before the emergence of Senator Adamu as the party’s national convention after the national convention in March.
