Popular American rapper, 50 Cent, announces plan to make movie about jailed Nigerian scammer, Hushpuppi
Popular American rapper and actor, Curtis James Jackson III, known professionally as 50 Cent has promised to produce a series about jailed Nigerian scammer, Hushpuppi.
Hushpuppi, real name Ramon Abbas who became popular for flaunting his lifestyle on his Instagram page, served nothing but soft life in snaps dressed in high-end designer clothes, travelling in luxurious vehicles, expensive watches and jewellery.

Abbas hogged headlines when the International Police in Dubai nabbed him after months of being investigated. According to The Business Insider, he was sentenced to 11 years in prison and ordered to pay back $1.7 million (R30.3 million) in restitution to two fraud victims.
Taking to his social media pages after Hushpuppi was handed down his sentence, 50 Cent said he was planning to make a movie based on him. He wrote: “For my scammers, I gotta do this one, Hushpuppi series coming soon.”
Producing movie on Hushpuppi is a disgrace to the Nigerian community, Nigerians are good people, there’s no any part of human endeavour that Nigerians have not contributed to. We have produced the likes of Amina Mohammed of the United Nations, Ngozi Okonji Iwella of the World Trade Organization. Last week, a Nigerian-Americans female soldier made history by becoming a General in the US Army, eight Nigerian-Americans beaome elected members of the US legislature. I will advise 50cent to produce it on BERNIE MADOFF, an American scammer who scammed Americans of over $60.8 billion.
