The Delta State Police Command has arrested a man believed to be in his twenties for killing a commercial sex worker and faking his own abduction.

According to the state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Bright Edafe, the suspect after killing the sex worker and setting the hotel room ablaze, he lied to his father he was kidnapped and extorted over N4,000,000 from him.
”This suspect took a commercial sex worker to a hotel in Asaba, allegedly killed her over an iPhone 11 argument, set the hotel room ablaze, after which he lied to his father that he was kidnapped, and extorted over N4,000,000 from his father.
“The Suspect will have his day in court,” the PPRO said.
