The Indomitable Lions of Cameron, one of the African continent’s representatives in the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar, will be the second country to lose their opening group game after being beaten by Switzerland 1-0.
Cameron conceded the only goal of the match in the 48th minute courtesy Breel Embolo of the Cameroonian decent.
The Teranga Lions of Senegal were the first country to suffer a defeat during their opening Group A game with Netherlands as they lost 2-0 Monday.
Elsewhere, Tunisia played a goalless draw with Denmark on Tuesday and the same was repeated with Morocco against Croatia on Wednesday.
Despite the woeful outings from the three representatives African fans are still relying on Ghana as they face Portugal later in the day by 17:00GMT +1.
