Gov. Buni honoured with chieftaincy title in Delta State


Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has been honoured with a chieftaincy title in the Gbaramatu Kingdom in Delta State.

Buni was honoured with the Taremobowei of Gbaramatu kingdom title.

This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Director General, Press and Media Affairs to the Governor, Alhaji Mamman Mohammed.

The governor was described as a national bridge builder and asset to national unity and cohesion.

The King of Gbaramatu kingdom said, the Kingdom was impressed by the laudable achievements of Honourable Buni as a state Governor, a democrat per excellence and an apostle of developmental politics.

Alhaji Mamman Mohammed said the title would spur Governor Buni to do more in promoting national unity for a one united Nigeria.

The new title of Taremobowei of Gbaramatu kingdom would be an addition to numerous titles bestowed on the Governor that include Chiroman Gujba, Walin Damaturu, Baraden Fika and the Zanna Gadama of Machina.
