Arsenal Football Club Saturday night extended their lead on the English Premier League table by five points ahead of Manchester City after beating Wolverhampton Wanderers 0-2 away at the Molineux Stadium.

Arsenal found the back of the net in the 54th minutes courtesy Martin Odegaard to give the Gunners the lead.
Despite pressures from Wolves to find a leveler, the Mikel Arteta boys who started off the season on a bright note kept on with the momentum as captain, Odegaard sealed the victory for the Gunners to make it 0-2.
Saturday’s victory for Arsenal see them topping the league with 37 points before the international break.
Meanwhile, City failed to close the wide gap after losing to Brentford 1-2 at the Etihad Stadium. They are second on the log with 32 points.
Elsewhere, Liverpool are sixth after beating Southampton 3-1 at Anfield.
Also, Tottenham Hotspur came from a one goal down to claim a 4-3 victory over Leeds United. Leicester stun West Ham United 0-2.
