Erling Haaland’s return on goal helps Man City snatch late winner over Fulham

Late penalty winner of Norwegian international, Erling Haaland, helped Manchester City snatched a 2-1 victory to disrupt Fulham’s plan of ending the game in a draw on Saturday afternoon at the Etihad Stadium.

City found the back of the net early in the first half until they conceded a penalty caused Joao Cancelo and former Manchester United player, Andres Pereira  leveled the game for Fulham to make it 1-1 in the 28th minute.

The result was sustained until the additional time when City were awarded a penalty after Robinson fouled De Bruyne inside the box and substitute, Haaland made no mistake to smash the ball into the far left of the post to give City a deserved victory.

City are currently top with 32 points above Arsenal who are second with 31.

Elsewhere, Nottingham Forest drew 2-2 with Brentford while Brighton secured 2-3 victory away over Wolverhampton Wanderers to climb to six positions on the log with 21 points.
