Kannywood actress, Halima Atete, to tie the knot with long-time lover

Popular Kannywood actress, Halima Yusuf Atete, will be tying the knot with her long-time lover, Alhaji Muhammad Muhammad Kalla, at the weekend.
35-year-old Atete, a Sharia law diploma holder from Borno State College of Islamic and Legal Studies, attended Government Girls College, Maiduguri and after her diploma programme, relocated to Kano to pursue a career in the famous Hausa Kannywood industry. And within a short period of time, she became successful and started producing her own films.
According to the programme of the event, a series of activities will kick off before Saturday 26th. Some of the programs will start from Kano before she will move to Maiduguri with her friends to continue with the wedding activities.
Atete’s husband-to-be is said to be a businessman from Maiduguri.
Friends and colleagues of Atete like Ali Nuhu, Ahmad Bifa, and Abubakar Mai Shadda, have expressed their happiness for her, for finding somebody to settle down with at a time of her choice when her career is also at its peak.
