UEFA: Benfica rain goals on Maccabi Haifa to displace PSG in Group H

Portuguese club side, Benfica, Wednesday night displaced Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to top Group H after trashing Maccabi Haifa 6-1 to book a spot in the knockout stage of the UEFA Champions League.

Benfica only needed six goals to top the group which they did also putting them at a favorable advantage when the draw for the outcome of the last 16 will be known on Monday.

Elsewhere, Manchester City beat Sevilla 3-1 to top Group G with Borussia Dortmund second after settling for a draw with FC Copenhagen.

Also, Real Madrid and RB Leipzig are through with the Spanish club pushed down Celtic to the bottom of the table with 5-1 victory.

Chelsea on the other ended the group stage matches with 13 points following their 2-1 victory over Dinamo Zagreb as AC Milan are second with 10 points after a deserved 4-0 win over RB Salzburg.
