Barely 24 hours after the killing of a pregnant female lawyer, Omobolanle Raheem, who was shot dead by a police officer in the Ajah area of Lagos, the identy of the officer has been revealed.
The name of the officer according to a Twitter user, KC Uzoka, who brought the incident to public knowledge is Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Dambri Vandi.

It was further gathered that the deceased was pregnant.
“My Colleague’s name is Mrs Omobolanle Raheem. She was pregnant.
“The name of the officer who shot her is ASP Drambi Vandi. He has been detained at the State CID Panti Yaba with 2 other accomplices of his.
“The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Lagos branch is following up closely with police to see justice is done,” he tweeted.

Also, giving credence to the officer’s identity, a human right lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, vi’s a tweet revealed the face of the officer via his Facebook account.
“This is another picture of ASP Dambri Vandi (name as provided by the Police) attached to Ajiwe Police Station. He murdered pregnant lawyer, Omobolanle Raheem. This photo is from his Facebook account where his name is written as Drambi. I guess it’s a spelling issue. @BenHundeyin,” he tweeted.

Neptune Prime reports that the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Usman Alkali Baba, has ordered a speedy investigation into the killing of the female lawyer.
