In football, many call it stunt or banter but for Emi Martinez to mock or shade Kylian Mbappe who netted four (4) goals against him in a world cup final can be said to be quite unfortunate, and should be ashamed of his actions.

Kylian Mbappe broke records to his detriment last Sunday. The 24-year-old forward became the first player to score a hat-trick goal in a world cup final in the 21st century and Emi Martinez will go down in history as the goalkeeper who failed to stop him, according to a report by Opera News.

Kylian Mbappe played three penalties against Emi Martinez (including the penalty shootouts) and scored all 3 out of 3. The Argentine goalkeeper failed to stop any of the penalties.

Emi Martinez should be ashamed of himself for shading Kylian Mbappe who was a main threat to the Argentine team last Sunday.

Instead of mocking the France international, Kylian Mbappe, the Argentine goalkeeper should have praised him for an outstanding performance in the world cup final.

The Aston Villa goalkeeper, Martinez lacks respect and he’s not remorseful despite being hammered four goals by one player in a world cup final.
