Cameroonian striker, Vincent Aboubakar became the first player to score and be sent off in a World Cup match 16 years after French player, Zinedine Zidane in the 2006 final.
Aboubakar was given a second yellow card (red) by referee Ismail El Fath after removing his shirt in celebrating the historic goal he scored against Brazil on Friday.
The goal meant the for the first time in World Cup history, Brazil had lost to an African team. It was also Cameroon’s first win of a World Cup match in 20 years.
