2023 Presidency: Support group gives Tinubu N100 million cheque to purchase form

Story from Saleh INUWA, Kano

Barely 24 hours after the national leadership of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) announced the cost of its nomination and expression of interest forms, a group issued a N100 million cheque for a frontline presidential aspirant, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to purchase his form.

The group, Tinubu Support Organisation (TSO), said it did so because of its belief in the capacity of Tinubu to positively transform Nigeria as President.

TSO Director-General, Aminu Suleiman, announced the decision via a message he posted on the group’s platform yesterday. The message reads: “Director-General Tinubu Support Organisation (TSO) Hon. Aminu Suleiman signs N100 million cheque to purchase APC presidential form for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Honourable Aminu Suleiman, Director-General, Tinubu Support Organisation noted that Asiwaju has helped, raised and lifted a lot of people and he is a man with a kind heart.

“The only thing I can do right now is to buy the N100 million APC presidential expression of interest form and nomination form for my father and mentor”.

“Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the man of every moment and he will transform Nigeria when he becomes the President. There will be economic growth and prosperity and Nigeria will be a better place.”

Similarly, National Coordinator, Nigeria Next Level Forum, Pa Oladipupo Oladosu, said the development was a confirmation of the firm belief in the capacity of Tinubu to transform the country.

He added that the concern of the forum was to ensure the emergence of a Yoruba man as the next president of the country. Pa Oladosu noted that among all the aspirants, Tinubu had proved his worth through his network and human capacity development.
