EPL: Man Utd trash Bournemouth 3-0 to level with Newcastle on points

Manchester United 3-0 victory over Bournemouth Tuesday night at Old Trafford has moved the club to level on points with Newcastle United on the English Premier League (EPL) table.

United continued with their winning streak on Tuesday to claim their fourth consecutive victories after the FIFA World Cup.

Casemiro opened the scoreline for United in the 23rd minute to put the Red Devils on the lead before the break.

Luke Shaw doubled the lead for United four minutes after the break.

The improved boys under Erik ten Hag after the exit of Cristiano Ronaldo showed they can be better without the Portuguese star sealed the victory in front of the home fans in the 86th minute courtesy Marcus Rashford who netted his seventh goal of the season for United.

They share 35 points with Newcastle United to retain fourth position and one point behind Manchester City who are second on the log with 36.

Elsewhere, league leaders, Arsenal failed to impress after playing a barren draw with Newcastle at the Emirates Stadium although they are still in a comfortable zone with eight points lead over City.

Also, Leicester City continues to disappoint as they lost 0-1 to Fulham at the King Power Stadium.

They are currently 13th on the log after three consecutive losses.
