Gunmen kidnap primary pupils in Nasarawa
Gunmen on motorcycles on Friday kidnapped primary pupils in Alwaza community, Doma Local Government Council of Nasarawa State.
Nasarawa Police spokesman, DSP Rahman Nansel, confirmed the incident stating that a joint team of police, military and vigilante has been mobilised to chase the abductors.
Doma local government chairman, Arc. Ahmed Usman Sarki, who also confirmed the incident told The Nation that the council’s authorities have informed the state government on the situation.
Sarki also stated that security operatives have swung into action to rescue the victims.
