Lagos vulcanizers to charge N1,000 – N15,000 per tyre replacement

The Lagos State Vulcanizers’ Association (LSVA) has released new charging rates for the year 2023/2024 cycle for their members in the state.

The new charging rates show an increment from what they were charging in the previous years.

Their services include replacement of tyres, pumping, and patching.

The chart of the rates which was sent to Neptune Prime on Wednesday stipulate that members charge pumping of motorcycle (Okada) tyres N200 per tyre, patching N500 and replacement of tyres per one will cost N500.

Also, power bike tyres; pumping goes for N200 while patching and replacement will cost N1,000 per tyre.

For tubeless car tyres and tubes, tyres ranging from 115×13 – 165×3 – 175×13 and 185×13 as well as other ranges will cost N300, N1,000 and N1,000 for pimping, patching and replacement per tyres respectively.

The new rates

While tubeless and tube for JEEP tyres with ranges from 255×17, 265×17, 275×17 and 285×17 as well as other ranges cost N500, N2,000 and N2,000 for pumping, patching and replacement of each tyre respectively.

Also, caterpillar tyres go for N5,000 for pumping and N20,000 for patching and replacement.

The association made provision for solid tyres which go for N15,000.
