Gov. Buni commissions Nguru modern market named after Shiekh Ngibirma

Governor Mai Mala Buni and his Gombe State counterpart, Mohammed Inuwa Yahaya, commissioned the newly constructed Nguru Ultra mordern market
Speaking at the occasion, Governor Mai Mala Buni said when after assuming office, he pledged to constructs 5 ultra modern market in Damaturu, Gashua, Nguru, and Potiskum to promote trade and commerce for economic growth and as a measure to fast track the recovery of the state.
The Governor revealed that the new constructed Nguru Market has been named after Shiekh Mohammed Ngibirma and consist of 505 shops of different sizes, inner structures of administrative block, mosque, refuse bank, perimeter fence, electricity, boreholes, drainage and road.
He noted that the government of the state named the market after the renowned Islamic scholar, late sheikh Mohammed Ngibirma, for dedicating his life to the teaching of Islamic prudence.
The governor further revealed that the market will provide an enabling environment to stimulate the economy of the community and the the state in general.
“The market will be register as a limited liability company with a board of directors.
“The day-to-day running of the market is to be headed by a general manager who will be supported by management staff”, Buni added.
