Gov Buni, Senator Shettima inaugurate mega school in Potiskum

Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni and Senator Kashim Shettima, the running mate to the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Tuesday, commissioned the newly constructed mega school in Potiskum, Yobe.

The newly constructed school was built by the Mai Buni’s administration named after the Emir of Fika and Yobe state Chairman Council of Chiefs, Dr Muhammadu Ibn Abali Muhammadu Idrissa.

Also, a Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Bulabulin Yarimari in Potiskum was equally commissioned by the President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan.

Speaking at the palaces of Emir of Fika, Alhaji Idrissa and that of Potiskum, Alhaji Umaru Bubaram Ibn Wuriwa Bauya, Governor Buni said, the projects commissioned they were part of the state government drive to improve the quality of education and health care sector in the state.

He commended the Emirs for their prayers towards making for peace to continue to reign in the state.

The Emir of Fika while receiving the governor and other guests appealed to politicians to make the country great again.

While at Dabo Ali Stadium Potiskum where the Yobe South APC campaign rally was held, the state APC Chairman, Alhaji Muhammadu Gadaka with the support of the Director-General 2023 Campaign Council in Yobe, Senator Muhammad Hassan Dambu presented APC flags to Yobe South Senatorial Candidate, House of Representatives and the state House of Assembly candidates respectively.

They charged the APC supporters of the Zone to vote for the party from top to bottom for them to continue enjoying the dividends of democracy in the state.
