Gunmen kill final year student in FCT
Gunmen have shot death one 32-year-old Sule Yahaya, a final year student of the College of Education (COE) Akwanga, Nasarawa State, in Sabo community in Kuje Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
A relative of the deceased, Danlami Aliyu, said the incident happened last Thursday night when the assailants dragged him out of his room and shot him in the chest.
He said the assailants did not take away anything from his room, but that they told the deceased that they were only hired to kill him.
“The assailants took him to the backyard and asked him to say his last prayer that they were hired to come and kill him,” he said.
According to Aliyu, the deceased was a native of the Buga community in the Kuje area council, and an undergraduate student of the College of Education (COE) Akwanga, Nasarawa State.
When contacted, the spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, DSP Adeh Josephine, was unable to confirm the incident at press time.
