United deserved victory over the Spanish side is one of the many tests passed by Erik ten Hag despite the club’s historic 7-0 defeat to Liverpool on Sunday at the English Premier League (EPL).

Man United’s regular goal scorers who failed to show up on Sunday were on target on Thursday night.

The Red Devils opened the scoreline early six minutes to kick off courtesy, Marcus Rashford to give the club the lead.

The game was leveled to 1-1 as Betis equalised in the 32nd minute.

The Erik ten Hag boys who owed the fans an apology for their flops on Sunday returned from the break to put one back into the net from Anthony.

Captain, Bruno Fernandes made things more difficult for the visitors as found the back of the net to make it 3-1.

Wout Weghorst gave fans a memorable night to seal the victory for United in the 82nd minute to make it 4-1.

Thursday’s victory for United put them in a comfortable position of advancing to the next round of the competition as they meet next week for the return leg.
