Nigerian lecturer, Zahrah Ibrahim, wins European drilling engineering innovation award

Nigerian lecturer and PhD engineering student at Aberdeen in Scotland, Zahrah Ibrahim, has won the prestigious European Drilling Engineering Innovation Award.

Arewa Fashion Style reports that her presentation on “A Novel Approach for Wellbore Strengthening” wowed the judges and secured her the top spot among the nominees.

The Drilling Engineering Award of the Society of Petroleum Engineers recognises outstanding achievements or contributions to the advancement of petroleum engineering in drilling engineering technology.
