Babcock University faces another scandal as website is hacked, flooded with pornographic content
Babcock University is infamous for sex-related reports despite being a conservative, Christian institution.
The website of the Seventh Day Adventist institution, Babcock University, was flooded with pornography on Tuesday.
Findings from ENIGERIA revealed that the hacking was done in the middle of the night but the website is now fully operational after a cleanup by its technical team.
There are indications that the hacking claim which emanated on twitter in the early hours of Tuesday was false especially because the Babcock University website was operational when our correspondent checked at about 2:20 am on Tuesday morning.
Recall that in 2019, Babcock University came under attack over the expulsion of a female student caught having sex in a video that has since gone viral.
The institution had announced that it has expelled the young lady in the viral sex video.
It, however, maintained that the act did not take place on its premises.
Babcock University, in a statement by its Director of Communication and Marketing, Joshua Suleiman, said that the video was recorded in April 2019 when the young man, who had earlier been expelled in February, was undergoing rehabilitation at a health facility.
The varsity revealed that the lady in the video was a 300-level student of accounting at the time the video was recorded but had been expelled since the video leaked in April.
It is also gathered that the filming of the now released sex tape took place when the school wasn’t in session. The statement read:
“According to the girl, the incident took place in April this year during school vacation, when she visited the boy at the hospital. The act did not take place in Babcock University”.
