IPOB among 10 deadliest terrorists group in the world – IEP
A new report released by the Institute for Economics and Peace (IEP) has stated that the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) is among the top 10 deadliest terrorists group in the world.

The information which was sourced from the Global Terrorism Index (GTI) provides a comprehensive summary of the key global trends and patterns in terrorism since 2000.
IPOB since its inception in 2012 is regarded as a nationalist separatist group in Nigeria with the aim of restoring the Republic of Biafra which gave up the struggle during the 1967 – 1970 civil war in the country.
But in recent years even in the present day reality, the group have turned its peaceful agitation to a deadly one – maiming and killing of innocent indigenes and politicians of Southeastern extraction of the country in broad daylight in most cases as well as destruction of government facilities in the region.
