Yobe Head of Service congratulates Gov. Buni on re-election victory

The Yobe State Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Garba Bilal, has congratulated Governor Mai Mala Buni on his victory at the just concluded Governorship and State Assembly elections in the state.
Alhaji Garba Bilal with other members of the State Civil Service embarked on a congratulatory visit to Governor Buni at the Government House in Damaturu.

Bilal described the Governor’s re-election and that of the state assembly members under the platform of the APC as an approval for what the administration is doing for the development of the state.
Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Sunday declared Governor Buni the winner of Saturday’s governorship election in Yobe State.

Governor Buni of the All Progressives Congress (APC) polled 317,113 votes to secure his second term in office, thereby defeating his closest opponent, Sherif Abdullahi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who scored 124, 259 votes.
