Brazilian man and six wives opt for surrogacy to start a family together (Photos)
Arthur O Urso, a 37-year-old man from São Paulo, Brazil, has captured the world’s attention with his unique family dynamic.
Arthur is in a committed polygamous relationship with six women, including Luana Kazaki, 27, Emelly Souza, 21, Valquíria Santos, 24, Olinda Maria, 51, Damiana, 23, and Amanda Albuquerque, 28. Despite the relationships not being legally binding, the group has cemented their love with a Catholic wedding ceremony.
Arthur, who already has a 10-year-old daughter from a previous relationship, is eager to expand his family with each of his wives. To avoid choosing one over the others, Arthur has decided to have a child with each of them through surrogacy which will set him back around £33,128.
Speaking to NudePR.com, Arthur said: “I don’t want to make any of my six wives upset by choosing which one gets pregnant first, so we’ve opted for surrogacy.
“I’ve never been through anything like this, so it’s the first time.
“We’re very anxious, but excited to make this dream of having a baby come true.”
But while all six of the women involved are on board with the idea of starting a family together, Emelly, Amanda, Olinda, Damiana and Valquíria took some convincing.
Arthur said: “In the beginning, it was a very delicate subject, especially as I want a child with each of [them]. “But that will be later on – at the moment, the best decision is surrogacy.
“[Currently], we are looking for someone who can be our surrogate and we want someone who gives us confidence.
“As we are still in demand, we haven’t spent anything so far.”
Arthur and Luana, who are both swingers, decided to bring more people into their relationship a couple of years ago. The result is a tight-knit family that supports each other and works together to build a happy and fulfilling life.
Speaking about the relationships, Olinda said, “It seems that I know her (Luana) from other lives. I expect we’re all going to do everything intensely and do everything possible to take care of my love, Arthur.”
The family’s unconventional lifestyle has sparked curiosity and interest from around the world, but Arthur and his wives hope that their story will inspire others to love and accept each other regardless of societal norms.
At this rate, Arthur will be giving American television host, actor, rapper, and comedian, Nick Cannon a run for his money.
