This quotes on loyalty best describes the duo of Yobe State Governor, Hon. Mai Mala Buni CON and his Deputy, Hon. Idi Barde Gubana, who have enjoyed and still enjoys robust relationships for decades and still counting.
It has been a great deal of exemplary loyalty being demonstrated in their togetherness that has kept a lot of admirers and enemies spellbound, making people wonder what could have been the source of such strong bond and unity.
This awesome relationship between them has engendered a deep-rooted sense of focus and commitment to their exceptional services to the people of Yobe State.
The developmental strides of the current administration in Yobe State can be said to be the by product of loyal leaders enjoying the same sense of focus and commitment to the good of their state.
Gov. Buni’s leadership style is well known for the promotion of loyalty coupled with hard work, and these two virtues are the same qualities that endeared the Governor to his deputy and cumulatively earned him, Gubana, the position of the Deputy Governor.
The Governor, working with the uniqueness of purpose and harmony with his deputy has resulted in the numerous policies and programmes fashioned out for the growth and development of Yobe State.
As Gov. Buni has said the re-election for second term offers ample opportunity for the present administration to do more developmental projects and programs in furtherance of the development agenda for the state.
Flowing in the rhythms of cordiality and generous relationship with his boss Hon. Idi Barde Gubana has been consistently and unequivocally committed to the continuity, consolidation and innovation agenda moving Yobe forward.
Idi Barde Guba, who is also the Waziri of Fune is highly preoccupied with the vision and mission of Gov. Buni and has been very grateful for the opportunity to serve.
In his remarks shortly after the presentation of his Certificate of Return by INEC, the deputy gov. expressed his profound gratitude to his principal, Governor Mai Mala Buni, for finding him worthy to be his deputy and pledged his full support for the success of the administration and progress of Yobe State.
He also appreciated Senator Ibrahim Geidam for supporting the government and ensuring the continuity of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
The deputy Governor-elect also thanked the citizens of Yobe for reposing confidence in the Buni-led administration by massively voting them into office again.
He said Yobe citizens can attest to Governor Buni’s excellent performance in the delivery of numerous people-oriented projects and in terms of restoring peace to the state after years of insecurity.
“We are very appreciative of the support from Yobe citizens who massively re-elected Governor Buni into office. I am assuring them that His Excellency will double the efforts he has made in the last four years.
“Yobeans should be rest assured that under the leadership of Governor Buni, there will be continuous peace and development in our state,” Gubana said.
