I am ready to leave acting for the right man – Kannywood actress
Story from Saleh INUWA, Kano
Veteran Nigerian actress Aisha Muhammed Jogana recently revealed in an interview that she is willing to quit her acting career in Kannywood if she finds the right man to marry.
During the interview, Aisha also disclosed that she is currently in a serious relationship with one of her colleagues in the industry.
She stated that she is ready to leave acting at any point in time if the right man proposes to her.
However, Aisha also discussed the struggles she faced when she first started her acting career due to her family’s reservations. She had to convince them to let her pursue her dreams, and it was not an easy task.

According to Aisha, her family, like many others, had misconceptions about the film industry and its practitioners.
“It took me time to convince my family to allow me to try my luck in acting. After serious persuasion and providing convincing reasons, my family gave their consent, but it wasn’t easy,” Aisha explained.
She added that many people fail to see acting as a profession and those in the industry as legitimate earners.
She hopes that more people will come to understand and appreciate the industry’s contributions to the entertainment and cultural sectors.
